Each Kindness
by Jacqueline Woodson

View in Library Catalog

In this story Each Kindness, there was a girl named Chloe she had two friends Kendra and Sophie. Then, one day a new girl came to the class her name was Maya. But, Chloe was mean to Maya. When, Maya smiled Chloe didn't smile back and Chloe never played with her. Then, Maya's seat was empty for many days. The teacher said she had to move to a new school. Chloe was sad, she wished she was nicer to Maya. I like this book because, it teaches people the importance of kindness.

Hard Eight

I continue to be amazed by how effectively this author can combine an intense level of humor and violence, and maybe that is what draws me to her books. In this book, one of her earlier ones, Stephanie Plum and her on-again off-again boyfriend Joe Morelli are off-again. This means Stephanie is fee to enjoy her time with Ranger the mysterious man she sometimes partners with. And yes, there is the expected destruction of a car, and a stun gun that only works when you don’t want it too; all the things we look forward to in her books.

Weird But True Books

The book is about weird facts that are actually true. My favorite part was about the facts back in the day and centurys. Also why I like this is because I learn new facts I didnt know and it gives you some knowledge to sometimes. Like you learn about the past in school and you learn about past in weird but true.

The Midnight Library
by Matt Haig

Now here is a book that everyone should read. It makes you really think about life and the perspective from which we view it. The idea is simple, if fanciful; If there were infinite possibilities for the life we could choose, which one would be take? This question is explored in a repetitive fashion but stops just short of being too much so. There are some lines in the book, particularly at the end, that you will take with you after you have finished the book. A particularly good read for anyone feeling down.

Take an ultra-rich guy who like to go around hurting bad guys, add an art heist, an anti-war group, a pedophile, and a serial murder and you’ve got this book; something for everyone! Coben’s writing is always riveting, and this is the perfect example.

Hot Dog Girl

Cute, summer read... The main character was a little irritating with her scheming though, but the character was self-aware...
