I love learning history through fiction! I love that some of the characters are based on real historical figures. The two storylines helped develop the characters. At times the book had too much detail and perhaps could have been a bit shorter. Great strong female characters!

This book was okay. The writing in it wasn’t great, but the story was entertaining.

Attack on Titans is a manga book my youngest had me read. It’s about humans kept in with walls away from giant Titans. I love Kellerman’s books, especially the Alex Delaware books, and this one did not disappoint. A young woman is trying to discover the truth about the death of her mother. Detective Milo Sturgis begins the case reluctantly, but soon sees there is more to the case than meets the eye. Milo enlisted the aid of his friend and police consultant psychologist Alex Delaware and together they discover that things are not really want they seem to be, now as well as in the past.

Good mystery! It wasn't my favorite, but kept me in suspense...

The Great Gatsby Paperback

I enjoyed the story and particularly the character development. Although it was a sad story it kept me captivated and I found myself further thinking about the characters and their motivation for what they did or what they wanted.
