Weird But True Books
by National Geographic Kids

The book is about weird facts that are actually true. My favorite part was about the facts back in the day and centurys. Also why I like this is because I learn new facts I didnt know and it gives you some knowledge to sometimes. Like you learn about the past in school and you learn about past in weird but true.

The Sanatorium
by Sarah Pearse

View in Library Catalog

The Sanatorium was intriguing in the beginning but didn’t make sense. For instance why would a woman kill other woman because she was raped and she wanted it known by killing these women plus the rapist and her brother who didn’t stand by her. She also killed for it to be known what tortuous abuse was done to the women who were placed in the sanatorium for no reason. The ending left everyone guessing who pushed the detective into the water. It was an ok read but didn’t make sense

I loved the book because it was funny and interesting. The part I loved the most was when he did a yard sale.

Invisible Girl
by Lisa Jewell

View in Library Catalog

What I love about this book is that it’s not the typical “who-dunnit”, where the chase leads from person to person, eliminating suspects. In this book, there is so much going on with the plot that everyone is relevant in the end. And the lines between the good guys and the bad guys is not clearly drawn. Someone is accosting woman on the streets and now a young girl has gone missing. It must be the creepy guy who lives on the block, right? But then again….
